Rotonda and Englewood are sections of West Charlotte County. This area comprises much of the Cape Haze area and is close to Englewood Beach and Boca Grande. Englewood Beach is one of several unspoiled beaches on Manasota Key. At the south end of the Key is Stump Pass Beach. North, into Sarasota County is Blind Pass Beach. Englewood Beach area has restaurants, shops and nightlife. The beaches north and south are more laid back.
Rotonda West is known for its many golf courses. Other sections of Rotonda are Rotonda Lakes, Rotonda Heights, Rotonda Sands and Rotonda Meadows and Villas. These are deed restricted developments.
