Don’t be caught in the Zillow Scam
That is a question posted on the Zillow website on August 23, 2016.
That’s the Zillow Scam for you… Zillow does not have accurate info. Only your local real estate agent can give you accurate, up to date info. Agents and brokers have been complaining about this inaccurate data for years. Zillow will keep listings on the site long after they sell to puff up the data that is on the site. It helps the company to appear more more informative but it does exactly the opposite. If only the search engines, especially Google, would look into this and give somewhat more preference to local companies they would be doing a lot of good for the consumer. As it stands, they are buying into the Zillow Scam. The people at Zillow know exactly how the SEOs work and play their game. They pack in useless and inaccurate information to beef up the site.
Often I hear people say, “I saw on Zillow…” and I have to show them why the numbers are wrong. That’s why I built a module so buyers and sellers can do their own research. They can compare any home to recently sold properties. They can use accurate data, entering exact info. Compare a 3 bedroom, 2 bath pool home in Punta Gorda Isles. Enter a range of years built and floor space. Enter waterfront data and garage spaces. Get an instant report of properties sold under that criteria. Choose a date sold range… 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 6 months…

I purchased this house a year and a half ago. How do I take this off Zillow?
